Also : I saw a lightning bolt strike a tree far in the distance, once. The tree caught on FIRE. Then the rain put the fire out. It was really amazing. xx
I have never been struck by lightning, but I have been frightened by Ninjas. At least, I think it was Ninjas. I didn't actually see them because, you know, they're Ninjas and they can turn all invisible and stuff. I didn't hear them either because, like, they can be really quiet (also part of Ninja training). BUT, I did smell them, and they smelled very scary. Have you ever smelled a ninja? Well, don't.
I haven't been struck by lightening, but I have seen wood that has been struck by lightening. Lightening turns trees into stone! It is called petrified wood. Very cool!
